Our Story
Central to the Evolution of Scientific Research
Our name reflects our role in being central to the evolution of scientific research, by bringing together Mosaic’s sample-centric lab operations with Labguru’s experimental-centric inventory, registration, ELN, and LIMS technology.
Cenevo was born from the union of two leading companies in lab digitalization. Titian Software, founded in 1999, built its reputation as the gold standard in sample management—helping leading research organizations streamline the supply of compounds, biologicals, and reagents. Labguru began in 2008, when founder Jonathan Gross transformed his frustration with lab data chaos into a powerful, integrated digital lab platform. After years of independent success, Titian and Labguru joined the Battery Ventures portfolio in 2022 and 2024, respectively. Their merger under the Cenevo brand reflects a shared vision: delivering a holistic, connected lab ecosystem that spans ELN, inventory, sample orchestration, and intelligent automation—empowering researchers to do more science, faster.
