LONDON, UK (19 November 2024) – Titian Software (now Cenevo), a market leader in life sciences sample management software, today announced that Griffith University’s Compounds Australia, Australia’s only dedicated compound management facility, has selected Titian’s Mosaic Sample Management platform (“Mosaic”) to manage their extensive compound collection and support future growth. Mosaic will enable optimization of workflow efficiencies at Compounds Australia, underpinning the facility’s strategic growth to meet the needs of a growing drug discovery sector.
Compounds Australia plays a critical role in advancing drug discovery, managing a diverse collection of over 1.5 million samples and supporting approximately 50 member organizations worldwide. The academic facility provides researchers access to high-value compound libraries as well as the specialist expertise and infrastructure required to screen those libraries in high throughput.
Following year-on-year growth since its establishment in 2007, Compounds Australia had outgrown its in-house sample management software. Recognizing the need for a more scalable solution, they selected Titian, a market leader in sample management with 25 years of expertise, to help future-proof their operations.
Laboratory integrations are a leading factor in Compounds Australia’s adoption of Titian’s Mosaic platform. Compounds Australia will integrate their existing Hamilton Verso and Q series stores along with the Azenta SampleStore™ solutions using Mosaic’s off the shelf integrations. To further enhance data flow and automation of their sample handling processes, Mosaic will also be integrated to fulfilment platforms including HighRes Biosolutions® platform, Beckman Coulter Access™, and in the near future ThermoFisher Scientific Momentum™ system. This will optimize efficiency, minimize risks, reduce manual interventions and free up valuable resources.
